I saw a car I couldn't identify the other day

I’m hoping you all might be able to figure this one out. I mean if anywhere on the Internet can do it, it’s here.

So, it passed me on Friday in the oncoming lane, didn’t have a chance to see a badge or any sort of identification. It was a low, open two-seater. May or may not have had a windshield. It probably did, but a small one. It was roughly the width of an NB Miata, and a little longer. It looked pretty new, condition and design wise. I’m guessing some kind of kit car, but I really don’t know. I don’t know how to describe it other than a modern interpretation of a DBR1

It had those proportions, with bulging fenders and a generally being quite low. It also had a stripe all the way down it, I think green, and the car was silver.

It was almost like a CC100 with slightly more pronounced fenders, and no open spot on the side.

For some reason I also feel like it was similar to a Lotus 2 Eleven. I'm not sure why, but these three cars are what I've been able to pull together from googling speedster style cars that at least have elements of the car I saw. So yeah, any ideas? I'm just hoping I see it again, since it was in my neighbourhood, weirdly enough.

Not that, I'd say the new best way I can describe it is a cross between the CC100 and the Catfish Miata. With some DBR1 thrown in. Or I'm just crazy

It was smaller than that/ That was one of my thoughts after I saw it, but then I realized how big they were. Proportionally it was quite similar though

By the time I saw it, it was beside and passing me. I didn’t see much of the grille, the headlights were like the CC100 or 2 Eleven, enclosed units, blended with the fender

It was smaller and quieter than the Viper. I forgot to mention, it was surprisingly quiet, otherwise I’d have engine sound to work off of too

It wasn’t that, it was shaped more like the CC100 than anything, but there’s no way it could’ve been a CC100. It was also strangely quiet, and roughly Miata sized. Had me thinking Miata based kit car, but the closest thing is a Catfish Miata and it isn’t that either. I guess I saw a ghost. Or I’m crazy, or it’s a one-off that looked impressively professional

I kind of thought it might be a Miata bodykit, but I’m not sure, none of the body panels looked like a Miata. It was roughly 944-sized I’d say...but it looked like a newer design. I dunno, I've kind of given up until I maybe see it again, I don't know if I got a good enough look
